Stensgaard

Stensgaard Allé 4, 4912 Harpelunde

Stensgaard was founded in 1803 when the owner of Frederiksdal, Councillor of State Dons, divided Frederiksdal and Stensgaard by selling Stensgaard to the Hoff Clausen family. It was Simon Hoff Clausen who, in 1803, constructed the main estate at Stensgaard, but just two years later, he had to sell the property. Over the next approximately 80 years, the estate passed through the hands of various owners.

In 1882, Councillor of State Daniel lé Maire purchased Stensgaard, and eight years later, he also acquired Frederiksdal, thus reuniting the two estates. The lé Maire family's ownership of both properties lasted for 75 years and only ended in 1957 with the death of widow Beate lé Maire.

After a couple of different owners, Stensgaard was purchased in 1968 by Regnar Nymann, whose son, Christian Nymann, took over the estate in 2004.
